About Me

Therapy is a journey based on care, trust, and self-discovery.

I have a Master’s degree in Clinical Counselling (RCC, BCACC) from Adler University and five years of experience as a counsellor. I also have over 10 years of experience in the school system as a teacher and administrator.

People are unique individuals with unique experiences. We all bring distinct histories and concerns to therapy. I respect your story and your concerns, and will provide support in a way that will work for you.

Therapeutic approaches will incorporate a variety of principles and ideas to create the ideal therapy for you. This is meant to meet your specific needs and address your individual challenges.

About Me

Master’s in Clinical Counselling (RCC, BCACC)

8+ years as a counsellor

10+ years as an educator (including Special Education and Administration)

My educational background consists of a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of the Fraser Valley, a Bachelor of Education and Special Education Diploma from the University of British Columbia, and a Masters in Counselling Psychology from Adler University.

I am currently a school counsellor with the Burnaby School District. Prior to this, I was as a teacher, a school administrator and a counsellor based in the community.

I have also worked with several counselling providers in the community and government funded projects.

In addition to my employment, I spend my time writing, enjoying fitness, and basically learning about anything and everything. I have also been a featured writer at The Good Men Project and have my own writing blog, which promotes writing-based and art-based therapy.

My view of therapy is to treat clients with empathy and dignity, and help them shift toward lasting health. It is a journey based on care, trust, and self-discovery.
